Performing Shakespeare: The Play’s The Thing Nothing makes the Bard come alive like a performance. Studying a role allows students to appreciate and apprehend Shakespeare’s work in a way that mere reading can never match. This class will train students to confidently deliver some of the most eloquent lines in the English language as they perform a shortened version of one of Shakespeare’s masterpieces. Students will audition for roles on January 21st and must be available for dress rehearsals and performances during the first week of May. Homework: memorize lines. Cost: $80 |
