Writing Groups Make the difference in your child's life between writing for enjoyment and writing as a chore: writing groups have turned the tables on the how students view writing. Students meet once a week to share their writings and enjoy each other’s company. A real audience motivates students to write by providing a fun environment and peer feedback. The instructor provides additional personalized comments to direct student growth in needed areas. Students are free to choose any topic, but this class is especially rewarding to budding fiction writers. Mr. Donnelly is a certified English teacher and homeschool dad, with a Master’s in English Literature, currently teaching at UNO and Metropolitan Community College. Time: 11:45-12:30 |
