Signing Out: We encourage moms to stay at the Learning Center because we think it's really important for them to be in community with each other. But sometimes that doesn't work out. Please be aware that the Learning Center is only responsible for the safety of children in the classroom; parents or their representatives are in charge in between classes and when children do not have class.

We do not take roll in our classes since it is the parent's or child's responsibility to make sure that they get there. Be sure you have filled out the emergency consent form that's part of the registration packet.

Before leaving the Learning Center, we ask that you sign out on the form at the registration table, leaving contact information and the name of a supervising adult. Well-behaved high school students are the only exceptions.

Illness: Although any public area increases exposure to germs, we ask that you be responsible by not bringing sick children to the learning center. Colds are unavoidable, but children with fevers, severe cough, or any infectious diseases should remain at home.

Inclement Weather: The Learning Center will not meet if Omaha Public Schools cancels its classes.
