It’s the Annual (Aren’t-You-Glad-You’re-Not-Going) Back To School Day on August 28th!

WHO: Any homeschooler; whether you have taken classes at the Learning Center or not, come on down!

WHAT: School pictures! Free hearing tests conducted by the Boystown National Research Center! Order yearbooks! Register for classes! Check out Christian Homeschool Scouting! Metro Community College Rep! Hurry! We’re running out of exclamation marks!!

Also, Boystown Research speech-language pathologists will offer screenings for Developmental Language Disorder, which may later result in reading problems or dyslexia for children ages 4-7. (Seven-year-olds must be in kindergarten or first grade.)

WHEN: Wednesday, August 28th from 10-2pm (Drop in whenever you like.)

Christian Homeschool Scouting for the whole family, ages 5-17!

This is a Cub Scout pack and two scout troops (one boys and one girls) in the Boy Scouts of America Mid-America Council’s Black Hawk District. They are made up of Christian homeschoolers, meeting on Tuesday nights at Southwest Church of Christ. Being homeschoolers, they can use the merit badges, belt loops, pins, and awards as unit studies for school!
