 Waitlists

If a class is full, you can still place your child on a waitlist. Simply register them as usual, at which point you should receive confirmation that they are on the waitlist.

If a place opens up in this class, all students on the waitlist will be sent an email simultaneously, regardless of when they were registered. Students will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis.

You may sign your child up for an alternative class at the same time:
--if your child is able to obtain a place in the previously full class, contact us to drop the unwanted class at no charge.
--if your child is not placed in the full class, you will still have some financial responsibility if you decide to drop the class (See details here.)

 FAQs

My child is on a waitlist; will they get into the class?

The short answer: We don’t know. Every semester some students get into some classes, but it is impossible to predict which ones.
Most openings occur in the first two weeks of classes. Keep a sharp lookout for an email. It's first come, first served for new students.

I got an email saying that there is a spot available but when I went to the class there were no openings.

Ach, someone else beat you to it. So sorry1

I got an email saying that there is a spot available. Do I need to drop my child from that class before signing up for the waitlisted class?

No: sign up for the waitlisted class as soon as possible to be sure that they get in before someone else gets the spot. Afterwards, please send us an email explaining your situation and the need to drop the other class. You will not be charged for dropping the alternative class.
