*Free language screenings for children ages 3 to 18.
The language screenings will be completed by a Boys Town National Research Hospital speech-language pathologist. For children ages 3-9 1/2, the language screening involves repeating sentences. For older children, the language screening involves the parent answering specific questions about the child’s language, literacy, and academic development. The results of the hearing and language screening are designed to let parents know if more testing is needed.
*Christian Homeschool Scouting for the whole family, ages 5-17!
This is a Cub Scout pack and two scout troops (one boys and one girls) in the Boy Scouts of America Mid-America Council’s Black Hawk District. They are made up of Christian homeschoolers, meeting on Tuesday nights at Southwest Church of Christ. Being homeschoolers, they can use the merit badges, belt loops, pins, and awards as unit studies for school!
