Updates 11.9.23
November 9, 20231.14.24
January 14, 2024Yes, we are starting in January. We have our reasons.
So here are a few quick reminders:
1. VOLUNTEERS
You should be receiving an email soon. It’s the first of two.
2. BOOKS & SUPPLIES. Some classes need them; you can discover the details in the online class descriptions. (Click on the class and then scroll down to the bottom of the class description). Year-long classes will use the same books. Other classes that will require books are Chemistry and for Tea with Jane.
3. FINANCIAL PENALTIES FOR WITHDRAWAL
Adjustments made to registered classes must be requested by email. Please remember, that such changes will incur the loss of the 20% deposit, which is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be credited. (Please contact us about special circumstances.) Cancellations made near the start of classes will incur penalties according to this schedule, as explained when you registered: 30% of tuition for cancellations made 21-15 days prior to the first day of classe, 40% tuition for cancellations made for 14-8 days prior to the first day of classes, and 50% tuition for cancellations made for 7 days prior to the first day of classes or later. Please appeal to us directly about any extenuating circumstances. We are always sympathetic to significant events such as loss of job, unexpected move, severe illness, etc.
4. In your email is an attached class list by student, but you can always find that information on your Amilia app, right? If not, get the app on your phone just like you do for fun apps, and then watch this if needed:

Note: you may see that your child is enrolled in a class marked as FULL. Ne vous derangez pas as the French say (literally, “Do not derange yourself”). Your child is already in the class, that’s why it’s full.
You will hear from us again when we are closer to starting. Whether you view this as a promise or a threat is up to you.
