(See all classes here.)
Check out
STORY EXPLOSION (ages 3-5) Classic storybooks (such as Caps for Sale and The Napping House) will spark learning in disciplines such as letters, math, science and art. You’ll be amazed by the learning journey your child takes with these old favorites! (More here.)
PETER AND THE WOLF (ages 5-9) where kids will discuss, construct, and play orchestra “instruments.” In addition to enjoying special guest instrumentalists, each week students will practice their own version of Peter and the Wolf, culminating in a performance. (More here.)
CHICAGO WORLD’S FAIR (ages 10-14) New Class! Absorb history without even trying! Kids will meet the inventors who dared to dream and create architecture and technologies never seen before (including the first-moving picture, the forerunners to amusement park rides, and the Beaux-Arts style). (More here.)
PSYCHOLOGY 101 (ages 14-19) Students will be prepared for the CLEP exam for college credit. Students will learn basic theories, taught from a Christian perspective, while focusing on the techniques that lead to better learning and living. Our teacher is Keely Beam, who is a homeschool mom with a BS in Environmental Science, a BA in psychology, an MAE in educational psychology, and an EdD in school psychology. (More here.)
