Important Learning Center Update, Week 7: please read and heed

Hi all,

Believe it or not, we’ve already passed the halfway point of the semester. It’s been a pleasure seeing students settling into their classes and enjoying time with friends each week. We’re grateful to all of you who help make the Learning Center such a welcoming place.  

1. The Final Tuition Installment Payment will be charged on Monday, March 23rd(unless you paid the full amount when registering). This will be charged to the payment method that you selected. Volunteer scholarship credits have already been applied. The merchant ID may appear as “4025414829.”

You don’t need to do anything unless your credit card needs to be replaced. If so, please see directions at the end of this message.

2. Dress Code:Even though temperatures are getting warmer, the dress code is still in effect. It’s awkward for us to have to enforce it, but we will if students are not complying.We'd much rather have you review the code and your children's clothing on Wednesdays. You can find the dress code on our website as well as at the bottom of this message.

3. The Picnic will be on Friday, May 8th from 3-7pm.We will provide hot dogs, lemonade, and paper products. Please bring a side dish or a dessert. Learning Center alumni are always welcome and feel free to bring a friend (and their kids, of course). It's the same old spot:you can see the location here.

4. Fall Semester:We are currently making plans for next semester. You’ll receive an email or text with all the details, as well as see it announced on Facebook, in the local e-trees, and on our website.The dates are available on our calendar.

   -- Do you have any ideas for new classes or are you interested in teaching? Let us know and we’ll try to make it happen. 

5. As indicated on our calendar and in Amilia,there is no Easter break. (When I was a public school teacher, I always swore that if it were in my power, I’d cancel classes on April Fool’s Day, but…)

6. Summer Classes:As of now, no summer classes are planned. You’ll be notified if something comes up.
