The Omaha Homeschool Learning Center

My kids had a great time last Wednesday. and all they've talked about since then is how many more days till the next class. I was blessed too getting a definite pick-me-up from the other moms in the Moms’ room (especially one in particular - who I had never met!) GOD IS GOOD!!!

I watched my kids bloom weekly; the Learning Center created a perfect place for them to grow and make friends and learn so many things as well as helping them in their healing journey. You guys are a Godsend.

My son was so blessed by the Homeschool Learning Center. We saw him completely change and mature into his fullness because of the standards, love, and care he was given at the Homeschool Learning Center. We are forever grateful for your mission of serving children!

We have been attending the Learning Center for over 5 years now, and I have to say it’s our favorite day of the week. We love the opportunity to meet new people, learn fun subjects and play with friends. Thank you so much!

When a 16-year-old boy comes home and says poetry was great, and he wished his brother was there because he would have loved it, I'm very thankful.

My children always request “fun" activities. However, it's not often that they request "academic" activities like they do at the Learning Center. Thanks for what you do!

A new homeschooled student was hesitant about enrolling in the Learning Center, but this past week his mom shared that he had fun participating in our activity because the other students in his group listened to his ideas, which had never been his experience before. This is just one small example of how the Learning Center is making a difference in the lives of students and potentially changing their outlook and confidence! Thank you for all you do!

I absolutely love teaching Hands-On Math. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do so through the Homeschool Learning Center! it’s a wonderful place for kids to grow and learn, and I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon a path that led me to you.

Homeschooling was a path I certainly did not feel called to take on. There were more days than not when my feeling echoed those of my son: of not being “good enough” for him to graduate or “smart enough” to lead him to a collegiate path. And then we found a place in Omaha…I will be eternally grateful to you for respecting my child’s needs…and mine. Now he has graduated, been accepted at all three colleges that he applied to and received two academic scholarships. There must be times when you question your purpose. Please in those moments know the difference that you made in the life of a student and of our family. You gave us hope when we needed it most.

The Learning Center is a beautiful witness to God's grace in prayer and action. God bless you all!
